The Continental Divide is everywhere in this high resolution panorama. From a high vantage point on the divide, the spine heads east toward Mount Harvard. By contrast, the westward projection is almost a grassy meadow, it's so flat. As it encircles Missouri Basin, the divide reverts to a sharp ridge heading north. The divide is last seen going over The Three Apostles on the left, while on the right it meanders endlessly to the south. See if you can track its tricky path?
Below center is Magdalene Basin, on the Texas Creek side of the divide. One building remains from the Magdalene mine. Eight Colorado Fourteeners are easily visible: Huron, La Plata, Missouri, Belford, Oxford, Harvard, Columbia and Yale, while many others are indistinct bumps on the horizon.
